Chapters & Events

EAAIJN will work with national chapters, one for each participating country. Each chapter is run locally, with its own elected leadership, so members can get involved close to home while still being part of the wider regional network. Nine chapters are proposed to start, across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with more expected to join over time.

Alongside the chapters, the network runs a shared calendar of events each year. These bring members together across borders to share reporting, learn new skills, and recognise good work.
